As we enter the third week of our Lenten journey, I want to express my gratitude to the hosts and leadership team of our small groups for their dedication and guidance. For those who are part of a small group, I hope you're finding the experience enriching, and I encourage you to continue with your current group or explore new connections in the spring. If you're not currently part of a small group, we invite you to join us after Easter for our next session.
In line with my goal of aligning my homilies with our small group discussions, this weekend's sermon will focus on the topic of Tithing. I'll also be introducing a new, user-friendly donation platform that makes it easy to support our parish. While existing online donors can continue with their current method, I encourage those using e-transfers or envelopes to try this new platform. You can even test it out using the link provided. By the end of the month, we aim to share a comprehensive financial report, highlighting the impact of your generosity.
As we journey through Lent and approach Easter, I invite you to deepen your spiritual practice by joining us for Stations of the Cross on Fridays at 7:00 pm. Additionally, Adoration and Confession continue to be available on Tuesdays from 7-8 pm. I'm grateful to be part of a small group myself and have been enriched by our spiritual conversations. I look forward to continuing this journey with you.
Finally, we are continuing our Share Lent journey. The 2nd symbol is a pencil and clipboard with a debt-reduction graph. This clipboard and pencil represent our power to act to alleviate the debt burden of impoverished countries by signing the Turn Debt into Hope global campaign petition. Members from the D&P committee will share more about this petition at the end of Mass. You are encouraged to sign the petition online (see below) or you can sign in person after Mass.
